Born a few hundred kilometers from Tokyo, June Takahashi trained at the Bunka Fashion Academy, the prestigious fashion academy of the capital, and debuted at only 25 years of age with his first collection of t-shirts called "Nowhere". Eclectic and hyper-creative, from a young age, Jun also delights in photography and song, as the singer of the Japanese punk band "Tokyo Sex's Pistols". His famous label "Undercover" sees the light in 1994 in a small shop in Harajuku, but soon gains a great notoriety both in Japan and abroad, thanks to its unconventional style, made by a marked technicality of the materials and the clean and geometric lines. Following his debut in Europe during the Paris Fashion Week in 2002, Jun Takahashi began important collaborations with Nike and Uniqlo. For both brands, he designs pragmatic and essential collections for both men and women, under the Nike x Undercover Gyakusou and Uniqlo Undercover label.
